To unlock it for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 renditions, a user has to continuously play the game until it shows up as the eighth alternate revealed.

To unlock it for the PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One renditions, a user has to purchase it with 2,000 Mojo Coins. In Just Dance 2016, All About That Bass' Flower & Bee Version is locked. While the dances did not originally have any ratings in the series, the Classic Version was later marked with a Medium difficulty rating and a Low effort rating while the Flower & Bee Version was later marked with a Medium difficulty rating and a Moderate effort rating. All About That Bass is a song in Just Dance 2016 and is also featured in Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service.
